Remote Support by Landmark:
Fees and Policies

  • Per minute rate: $1.50.
  • Minimum: 10 minutes or $15.
  • Effective rate: $90 per hour, charged by the minute.

Additional fees:

  • Weekend Rate surcharge: $50.
  • Public holiday surcharge: $75. (Minor Federal holidays not subject to surcharge.)

The remote access software keeps track of the time; that way we both know how long we've been working. Note that short sessions and simple fixes are often without charge to existing Landmark clients.

If we cannot resolve the issue, we offer options:

  • If we've made no progress, you don't pay. The burden of performance is on us.
  • If we've made some progress but need to proceed to a hands-on repair, we can come to your place to get the job done (Washington, DC metro area only). Armed with information gathered in the remote session, we can reduce the length of an onsite support visit, and can charge less.
  • If we do make an onsite visit, we'll refund 50% of your online fee . . . and there's no travel charge.

We reserve the right to determine whether we can furnish remote support in your particular case, and whether or not the session is chargeable.
